Patty Thomas 1940's vintage WWII USO show girls introduction:

In 1944 Patty Thomas accompanied Bob Hope on his South Pacific tour and logged more than 30,000 miles and 150 performances along with Frances Langford, Jerry Colonna with his trademark bushy mustache and bulging eyes and guitarist Tony Romano. Standing next to a skimpily clad Patty Thomas, Hope would crack, "I just want you boys to remember what you're fighting for."

Short Biography: Patty Thomas performed with Bob Hope in the South Pacific in the waning days of World War II, 1944-45; also entertained with the USO in Europe, Alaska and later in Vietnam. She was a dancer with the Bob Hope traveling USO camp shows: 1944, 1945, 1949, 1954 & 1959. She also has some small movie and TV credits. After the WWII she toured with dance orchestras, including that of Ted Fio Rito, and appeared with Hope on television. Her reminiscences about the wartime tours are featured on the 1995 documentary film, Bob Hope: Memories of World War II.
