She gives a rousing performance singing the opening title song for 1942s The Fleet’s In; the first movie with Scott was the 1945 film Captain Kidd, followed by The Virginian in 1946, opposite Joel McCrea. The third was in 1947 anothern Randolph Scott film Gunfighters. Barbara Britton gave a memorable preformance in Champagne for Caesar (1950); her main claims to lasting fame was as televisions "Revlon Girl" and her two-year run as inquisitive amateur sleuth Pam North on the TV series Mr. and Mrs. North (55 episodes, 1952-1954). Date/Place Birth: September 26, 1919 (1919-09-26); Long Beach, California, U.S.A. Date/Death/Cause: As Barbara Czukor, she dies of pancreatic cancer at age 59 in her New York City home January 17, 1980. Spouse(s) & Children: Dr. Eugene Czukor (1945-1980 her death) the couple had 4 children and Barbara Britton spent much time caring for her family; sadly, her two younger children died while very young; the oldest daughter Christina Britton became an actress and operatic singer while son Theodore Britton, "Ted or Teddy, appeared on episodic TV.
