This page is with reference to three planets in the same system. These stars are relatively close to the size of earth and if there are intelligent aliens living here they will get historical status because these planets, PSR B1257+12 A, B and C were the first the Earthlings discovered outside their own solar system (Aleksander Wolszczan 1992). These aliens live in a beautiful world, there would be like a psychedelic light show on steroids similar to our aura borealis only more intense and with an intense strobe light from the pulsar (see the artist’s concept artwork top of page).
The aliens on any of these planets are bound to be a tough bunch having undergone a massive shockwave when the star they now orbit underwent supernova and the planets werw effectively stripped or miraculously somehow formed by the blast are now constantly bathed in pulsating deadly radiation from the wildly spinning (PSR B1257+12 makes a full rotation every 6.22 milliseconds and emits an intense beam of radiation) remnant of the star that had once been their “sun” but is now a neutron star what astronomers have termed a pulsar.
