Japanese Navy Admiral Yamamoto- ISOROKU YAMAMOTO (1884-1943). Yamamoto was a Japanese admiral who originally resisted the idea of going to war with the United States but planned the Pearl Harbor attack. His plane was shot down by American fighters after they learned of his location.
