The United States of America's Famous Uncle Sam is Economically Beaten Wounded, Bandaged and Begging for Help, Hopefully Yankee Doodle Dandy Uncle Sammy Obama with his Financial Regulatory Reform: New Foundation Will Rescue Him!
Regretfully this web page poses more questions than answers. There are two outstanding images both from unknown artists; if you painted these funny images or if you know the artist please contact me. The first images is Uncle Sam Beaten, Wounded, Bandaged and Begging; quite appropriate for this global economic crisis we got going on, seems especially bad her in the United States but maybe that's just because I live here. Anyway here patterned after the famous original by James Montgomery Flagg from 1917 Uncle Sam image is a poster showing Uncle Sam beaten, wounded, bandaged and begging instead of I want you for U.S. Army he says in large text: I Want Your $$$ (dollars, blood or both); Buddy Can You? (spare a dollar). Poor Uncle Sam he is a mess (economically at least). Anyway I am sorry I don't have the answers hopefully Obama and his buddies do.

Which brings me to the next outstanding image artist unknown, it's Uncle Sam Obama, or is it Uncle Obama Sam? An outstanding original painting (at least doesn't look photoshopped to me) of President Barack Obama as Uncle Sam; once again this artwork based on the famous original by James Montgomery Flagg from 1917. So anyway Obama has the economy under control he a broad sweeping economic solution called "Financial Regulatory Reform: A New Foundation". So in my personal case I think it means that the Obama super-stimulus check is in the mail; should it fail to show up I have a tent in the garage so I won't be homeless. Sorry I really don't get this economic stuff. As long a I remember the American governments have been deficit spending ??? I guess they can do that because they print the money. Then there is this trade deficit stuff; I don't get how that works either but it appears that you import everything from China and export all your jobs and industry around the globe??? I am not sure how this works either, I think someone said were a service economy, I have a support number if you have questions, some guy in India can help you find the answers.

...so sad a state of affairs for Uncle Sam, the powermongers and moneymongers build a house of cards and when that house of cards comes down what has been the most successful economy on earth is a shambles. As a result Uncle Sam is severely damaged but what is sadder is the poor, lower and middle classes, the pawns in the game. Like the deficit and trade imbalance the government has devoted more of its resources to accommodating it rather than confronting and reducing it. As for Americas poor Jesse Vear panel member of the Maine Council on Poverty and Economic Security says aptly that the American economy facilitates poverty through its tax structure and relies on many getting next to nothing in order to provide more to others. "Poverty is no accident. It is a part and parcel of an economic system where some few people benefit from the sacrifices of many, many, many people who are working hard to provide all that wealth that is flowing upwards." |
