In Armenia, September 10, 2010 a new world’s record was set by an Armenian Candy Company in Yerevan, celebrating its 10th anniversary, the Grand Candy Company Ltd, in Yerevan, Armenia has created a 5600x2750x250 millimetres size, thats 224x110x10, 4410 kg weight, that's 9,722.39 lb, almost 5 tons chocolate candy bar! - setting the new Guinness world record for the largest chocolate bar; above they can be seen receiving their Gunniess certificate from Elizabeth Smith from Giunness.

This is the World’s largest chocolate bar, the new record holder from Guiness for the worlds largest solid chocolate candy bar. The largest chocolate bar weighed 4,410 kg (9,722.39 lb) and was made by Armenian-Canadian JV "Grand Candy" Co Ltd, in Yerevan, Armenia; it took three days to make and the new record was certified on 10 September 2010.
This new mammoth chocolate bar toppled the previous Guinness world record for the largest chocolate candy bar set in Italy in 2007 where a chocolate candy bar that weighed 3580 kg was made the new record world's largest chocolate bar.

It took three days for the Grand Candy Company factory to make their Guinness world record breaking chocolate candy bar which was manufactured in accordance to traditional technology, using Ghana-imported cocoa beans and over 1000kg of sugar.
The previous world’s largest chocolate candy bar record was set in Italy in 2007 where a chocolate bar that weighed 3580 kg was made.
At the certificate award ceremony in Yerevan, Armenia, September 10, 2010 Elizabeth Smith from Guiness presented the certificate and head of Grand Candy Company Karen Vardanyan invited everyone to participate in chocolate tasting event due October 16 in Republic Square.
