The easily recognizable iconic candy made since 1907 the original HERSHEY'S KISSES Brand Milk Chocolates have been a favorite American treat for generations. More than 80 million Hershey's Kisses are produced each day at the company's two factories. Today's delicious Kisses still use Hershey's original milk chocolate formula. In recent years many wonderful variations have also been produced seasonally, for special occasions or on a temporary basis. The Hershey company manufactures some large ones, and has produced some giant ones but none have been quite as impressive as the gargantuan one they produced for the Kisses 100th anniversary celebration which garnered the Guinness World Record for largest individual chocolate candy.

It began with one block of Hershey’s Milk Chocolate, this one, and it ended with the Guinness World Record Largest piece of chocolate candy. The World’s Largest Hershey’s Kisses Chocolate stands 12 feet tall and weighs 30,540 pounds. It was built at Hershey Pennsylvania in nine days by 152 people and the progress was broadcast live via the internet as it happened in 2007. The mammoth chocolate Kiss was covered in 16,460 feet of the classic silver foil. The historic record breaking World’s Largest Hershey’s Kisses Chocolate was made to celebrate the 100th anniversary of the iconic Hershey’s Kisses Brand, and features a seven-foot-long plume that reading 100 Years of Kisses..
