This new largest chocolate sculpture weighted 4,870kg (10,736.5lb), measured 1.5m (4ft 11in) in height, 2.5m (8ft 2in) in width and 1.2m (3ft 11in) in depth. It was measured at the Centro Commerciale Carosello, Carugate, Italy, on 3 April 2010. The delightfull work of art was carved from one solid giant block of white chocolate; all the left-over chocolate which had been chipped away to make the sculpture was wrapped in small packages and sold to passers-by, in Milan’s Carosello Shopping Mall, where the event took place. All the proceeds were donated to children of Haiti foundations, to help rebuild their lives.
