Short Lasting New World's Longest Chocolate Bar Record: The little town of Rivarolo, near Turin, Italy, hosted a successful Guinness World Records attempt for the longest chocolate bar in the world. They already held the delicious culinary record for the worlds longest chocolate bar they were attempting to beat which was 6.98 meters, but the candy maker A. Giordano, a local chocolatier, and his team outdid themselves and made an 11.57 meter-long chocolate bar. The event was sponsored by a Rivarolo shopping mall, who also brought in the Guinness representative to acknowledge the successful but short lived but short lived record for the longest chocolate bar which was again topped in August by the BullRush Handmade Chocolates Company in New Zealand.

Short Lasting New World's Longest Chocolate Bar Record: For a while this was the longest chocolate bar which measured 11.57 m (37 ft 12 in) long and 1.1 m (3 ft 7 in) wide, was made by A. Giordano Laboratorio Di Cioccolato, and was presented at an event organised by Teorema d'Immagine at Rivarolo Urban Center in Rivarolo, Turin, Italy, on 14 March 2010.
